Android Software Developer

I. PROJECT INFORMATION & OPPORTUNITY

This is an on-site position at Mexico office of one of the Big Three automakers in North America. Participating in this project, you will have chance to work with top talented engineers, join growing team dedicated to enhancing existing software related products and creating new and exciting software components that integrate with existing architectures as well as our next generation vehicle systems.

II. JOB DESCRIPTIONS

We are seeking a Middle and highly experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have 3 - 5+ years of extensive experience in developing and maintaining Android applications that meet the needs of our clients.

1. As a Middle Android Developer, you will work closely with Senior Developers to design, develop, and maintain our Android Application

2. As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of junior developers, as well as designing and developing. high-quality Android applications.

Responsibilities:

 Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

 Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

 Ensure the performance and quality of applications

 Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

 Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

 Write and maintain Unit Tests

III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: MIDDLE LEVEL

Basic Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

 3-5 years of experience in developing Android applications

 Experience with Voice Services (Alexa) using Android is advantage

 Proficient in Java and Kotlin

 Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Git

 Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

 Strong understanding of Android design principles and material design

 Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

 Strong problem-solving skills

 Excellent communication and teamwork skills

IV. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: SENIOR LEVEL

Basic Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

 5+ years of experience in developing Android applications

 Experience with Voice Services (Alexa) using Android is advantage

 Proficient in Java and Kotlin

 Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Git

 Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

 Strong understanding of Android design principles and material design

 Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

 Experience with performance tuning, memory optimization, and debugging

 Strong problem-solving skills

 Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience

 Experience developing Android application for Automotive industry

 Experience integrating voice assistants like Alexa into Android Application app

 Experience developing service, especially system service

 Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
