    Job Description: As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and delivery of software projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. You will be responsible for managing a team of developers, implementing agile methodologies, and fostering a customer-centric approach to software development. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong interpersonal abilities. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee the entire software development life cycle, from project initiation to delivery, ensuring projects are completed within scope, time, and budget. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to achieve project goals. Scrum & Agile: Implement and lead agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, to enhance team efficiency and adaptability to changing project requirements. Conduct regular sprint reviews. retrospectives, and planning sessions to optimize team performance. Program Development: Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define program requirements and specifications. Customer Engagement: Foster a customer-focused culture within the development team, ensuring that customer needs and expectations are met or exceeded. Act as a liaison between the development team and clients, gathering feedback and addressing concerns. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the software development life cycle. Continuously evaluate and refine development processes to ensure best practices are followed. Customer-Focus and Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of customer needs. Collaborate with clients, product owners, and other teams to align development efforts with business objectives. Training: Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team remains innovative and competitive. Complex Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa. Professional Integrity: Uphold high standards of professional and ethical conduct in all interactions and decision-making processes. Business Acumen and Organizational Savvy: Understand the business landscape and align software development efforts with overall organizational goals. Navigate internal politics and build alliances to drive successful project outcomes. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of long-term strategic plans for software development. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that software development activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software development, with a focus on project management and leadership roles. Certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2), Agile (CSM, PMI-ACP), or related fields are a plus,
