Senior Java Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Spring Boot Developer to join our team for the backend development of a cutting-edge portal. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend technologies, particularly in Java and Spring Boot, and a passion for building scalable and robust systems.

Key Responsibilities:
 Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for the travel portal using Java and Spring Boot.
 System Architecture: Collaborate with the team to define the architecture of the backend system, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
 Database Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
 Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices in software development.
 Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize the backend system for high availability.
 Testing: Implement unit tests, integration tests, and support the QA team in ensuring the backend system's reliability.
 Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
 Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for the backend services and APIs.
 Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java backend development, with at least 3 years in Spring Boot.

Skills:
 Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
 Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
 Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
 Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
 Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
 Experience with Agile development methodologies.
 Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
 Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
 Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
 Experience in the travel industry or related domains.
 Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
 Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
