Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer specializing in Node.js. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for the architectural design and implementation of backend services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and performant web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Node.js, modern backend technologies, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
 Architect, design, and implement complex software solutions using Node.js and related technologies.
 Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and performance of applications.

 Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
 Break down complex projects into manageable tasks and assign them to team members.
 Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
 Provide estimates for tasks and maintain adherence to timelines.
 Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Node.js developers to achieve project goals.
 Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.

Requirements
 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
 Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.js technologies.
 Extensive experience with Node.js, Express.js, and related technologies.
 Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.
 Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
 Experience with database design and development (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
 Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
 Experience with code quality tools and static code analysis.
 Proficiency in using popular testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Jest.
 Writing unit tests for asynchronous methods using async/await patterns.
 Understanding how to handle and test asynchronous operations and tasks in Node.js.
 Collaborating with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure the software meets business requirements.
