Location: Vadodara, Gujarat (Onsite)
Shift: 5:00pm IST to 3:00am IST (Mon-Fri) (Night Shift)
Experience in international sales or customer service is necessary for this position.
Experience with the US market will be beneficial.
Job Summary:
The Sales Executive for the U.S. Hospitality Market, operating from India, is responsible for driving business development and revenue growth by targeting U.S.-based clients. This role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing relationships with key U.S. clients, and ensuring that the hotels services and offerings are effectively promoted in the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry, a strong understanding of the U.S. market, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with global teams.
Key Responsibilities:Sales:
Market Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the U.S. hospitality market, leveraging market research and trends.
Client Acquisition: Identify and approach potential U.S.-based clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, tour operators, and event planners, to secure new business.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing U.S. clients, ensuring their needs are met and opportunities for upselling are identified.
Remote Collaboration: Coordinate with the on-site teams in the U.S. to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction, despite the geographical distance.
Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, highlighting performance metrics, sales achievements, and market insights relevant to the U.S. market.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with U.S. clients from India, ensuring terms that are beneficial to both the hotel and the client.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with marketing, reservations, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
Digital Communication: Use digital tools (e.g., video conferencing, email marketing, social media) to engage with clients and prospects in the U.S. effectively.
Client Relations:
U.S. Market Expertise: Leverage knowledge of the U.S. hospitality market to tailor offerings and pitches to meet the specific needs and expectations of U.S. clients.
Cultural Sensitivity: Understand and address cultural differences that may affect communication and negotiation with U.S. clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry, with a focus on international markets.
Strong understanding of the U.S. hospitality market and consumer behavior.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage clients remotely.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other digital sales tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in remote sales or working with international clients.
Knowledge of U.S. regulations and standards in the hospitality industry.
Familiarity with digital marketing and online sales strategies.
