BackEnd Developer - FastAPI

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FastAPI Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with FastAPI and a deep understanding of Python and web frameworks. As a Senior Developer, you will lead projects, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development practices.

Location: Bengaluru (Chennai during training period)

Key Responsibilities:
 Design and Development: Lead the design and development of scalable, robust, and high-performance web applications using FastAPI.
 API Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and well-documented.
 Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following best practices and design patterns.
 Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products.
 Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior developers, providing code reviews, feedback, and technical guidance.
 Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
 Testing: Implement unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.
 Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing systems.

Qualifications:
 Experience: Minimum of 2years of professional experience in software development, with at least 1 years focused on FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
 Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
 Technical Skills:
 Proficiency in FastAPI and Python.
 Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
 Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
 Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
 Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
 Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
 Understanding of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
