- Job Description: Key Account Manager - MRO Sales
Position Title: Key Account Manager - Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Sales
Location: Pune
Reports To: Sales Head / Regional Sales Manager
Job Summary: The Key Account Manager for MRO Sales will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with strategically important large customers. Assigned to several key accounts, the Key Account Manager is expected to achieve sales targets by providing exceptional service, leveraging market knowledge, and executing effective sales strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of the MRO industry and the ability to drive business growth through effective account management and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key account stakeholders.
Understand customer needs, challenges, and goals to offer tailored solutions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive account management.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
Conduct regular account reviews to track progress, identify opportunities, and address any issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
Market and Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Provide insights and recommendations to customers based on market knowledge and product expertise.
Continuously enhance product knowledge to effectively address customer needs and provide solutions.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
Lead negotiations with key accounts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Monitor contract performance and address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, account activity, and market trends.
Analyze sales data to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Provide feedback and recommendations to management for strategic planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in the MRO industry.
Strong understanding of MRO products and services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing large, complex accounts.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data.
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
Advanced knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
Working Conditions:
This position may require frequent travel to customer sites and industry events.
The role may involve working outside of regular business hours to meet customer needs and deadlines.
