Strategy and Transaction Practice gives organizations and their investors the confidence that the results they report give a true and fair picture of their business, SaT team members are helping clients address their most pressing strategic challenges, they receive significant responsibility for identifying information sources, assembling data, performing analyses, structuring hypotheses, and developing presentations.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Under guidance of manager and being in charge on engagements, performing business valuations, due diligence procedures, market research, feasibility studies etc.
Understand, analyse and assess information from external and internal (EY) sources to provide insights for clients, and help them develop strategic plans for raising, investing and/or optimizing capital
Apply financial analytical skills in the preparation of financial due diligence reports for both local and foreign clients seeking to acquire target businesses and/or assets
Participate in business development assignments, and perform qualitative and quantitative research on the markets and/or target companies
Develop in depth knowledge on focus sectors for EY, to be able to add value while analysing financial and strategic information of clients, and identifying opportunities based on market developments
Write reports to present key findings, and analysis from research
Use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provide
Technical skills and requirements:
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similar field
Prior experience in accounting, auditing or corporate finance is highly valued and will be considered as a plus. Outstanding academic performance, including coursework relevant to the position, preferably including quantitative courses in mathematics, business, economics, biologic sciences, or engineering.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
Experience in valuation and due-diligence projects would be considered as an advantage
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Georgian and English
Excellent technical and computer skills - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy
Self-motivated, positive attitude
Strong analytical, teamwork and organizational skills
Willingness to learn
ACCA/CFA membership will be considered as an advantage
