Job Overview:
The Business Strategic & Operations Manager is responsible for driving the company's strategic initiatives, managing and developing high-performing teams, and ensuring a high return on investment (ROI) for all business activities. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. The position reports directly to senior management and is responsible for making key decisions to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive business strategies aligned with the companys vision and long-term objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish strategic priorities and set measurable key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Design and implement actionable plans to achieve strategic goals, ensuring alignment across all departments.
2. Business Growth and Decision Making:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships to drive growth.
- Make strategic decisions to enhance business growth, profitability, and market share.
- Implement growth strategies, including product development, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
- Monitor and analyze business performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize growth strategies.
- Develop and execute plans for scaling operations and increasing revenue.
3. Operational Management:
- Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Develop, refine, and implement operational policies, processes, and systems to improve workflow.
- Continuously monitor operational performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining high-quality operational practices.
4. Project Management:
- Lead and oversee strategic projects from ideation to execution, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and address any issues proactively.
5. Financial Management and ROI:
- Prepare, manage, and oversee budgets for strategic initiatives and operational activities.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the ROI of projects, initiatives, and operational changes.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements without compromising quality.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize ROI and profitability across all business activities.
- Regularly report financial performance and ROI metrics to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members, aligned with company objectives.
- Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.

7. Senior Management Collaboration and Reporting:
- Maintain a close working relationship with senior management to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives.

- Regularly update senior management on project progress, operational performance, financial metrics, and business growth.
- Gather feedback from senior management and incorporate it into strategic and operational plans.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on business performance, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
8. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks associated with strategic initiatives and operational activities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies and contingency plans.
- Monitor risk factors continuously and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and industry requirements to protect the organization.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business strategy, operations management, or a related role.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional teams successfully.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and achieving high ROI.
