Power BI Developer - Data Analytics

Job Description
 Power BI development and administration.
 Building Analysis Services reporting models.
 Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
 Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
 Translating data into informative visuals and reports.
 Implementing row-level security on data and understanding application security layer models in Power BI.
 Making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
 Using advanced level calculations on the data set.
 Designing methodology and project documentation, developing, publishing, scheduling reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
 Assisting business users on functional and data requirements to enhance data models.
 Developing self-service models, data analytics using Power BI service.
 Developing tabular and multidimensional models compatible with warehouse standards.
 Developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per business requirements.
 Properly understanding business requirements and developing data models accordingly by taking care of resources.
 Having knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
 Using secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, PolyBase, Visual Studio.
 Integrating Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation, and developing custom visuals for Power BI.

Requirements For This Role Include
 5+ years of experience in Power BI development and administration.
 Proficiency in making DAX queries, advanced level calculations, and implementing row-level security on data.
 BS/MS in Computer Science or Information System.
 Experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects.
 Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS.
 Experience working with a self-service tool, preferably Power BI or Tableau.
 Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries.
 Experience with SQL or SQL reporting.
 Experience with batch file scripting.
 Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle.
 Experience dealing with a remote workforce and customer base.
