Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

Seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure and Development Architect to lead our cloud initiatives. This role will focus on managing and developing our AWS-based IoT platform. Ensuring support all feature use cases end-to-end automotive IoT platform efficiently and securely. The successful candidate will oversee both infrastructure management and cloud application development

Years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and cloud application development, preferably with AWS.

Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, IoT platform, and other services.

Understanding of cloud native development and architecture philosophies.

Strong experience with infrastructure such as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.

Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Work Experience

Platform Design and Architecture: (Must Have) Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable IoT cloud architectures on AWS.

Develop end-to-end solutions that integrate IoT devices, data storage, processing, and analytics.

AWS Service Understanding: (Must Have) Leverage AWS IoT Core, AWS IoT FleetWise, AWS Lambda, AWS Greengrass, AWS S3, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Kinesis, and other relevant AWS services to build robust IoT solutions.

Optimize AWS resources for performance, cost, and scalability.

AWS IoT FleetWise & IoT Core based Develpoment: (Must Have) Develop architecture with AWS IoT core and its automotive capabilities like FleetWise.

Desing solution with IoT Core, MQTT capabilities, IoT Device Shadow, FleetWise Data campaign, etc.

Understanding on device provisioning, certificate management, etc.

Develop solutions for device provisioning, configuration, and firmware updates.

Ensure secure and reliable communication between IoT devices and the cloud.

Integrate IoT solutions with third-party platforms and services as needed.

Ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability.

Understanding of Edge SDK and MQTT client.

Set up monitoring and logging for IoT applications using AWS CloudWatch and other relevant tools.

Cloud Infrastructure Management: (Must Have)Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS-based cloud infrastructure.

Monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability.

Implement best practices for cloud security, cost management, and disaster recovery.

Cloud Application Development: Lead the development of cloud-native applications and services on AWS.

Collaborate with software development teams to design and implement microservices architecture.

Ensure that cloud applications are designed for high availability, scalability, and security.

Infrastructure Automation: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.

Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines.

Security and Compliance: Ensure IoT solutions meet security standards and compliance requirements.

Implement best practices for data encryption, access control, and monitoring.

Cost Management: Monitor and manage the cost of AWS services used in IoT solutions.

Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising performance and security.

Monitoring and Incident Management: Implement and manage monitoring tools to track cloud infrastructure health and performance.

Manage and respond to incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud infrastructure.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on cloud infrastructure status, issues, and improvements.
