Job Summary

As a Tosca Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test automation solutions using Tosca. You will work closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery by leveraging your expertise in Tosca Automation framework and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Development :
 Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Tosca.
 Work with Tosca TBOX modules, TCD (Test Case Design), and other Tosca components to create effective and reusable test cases.
 Implement and execute test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing.

Framework Development
 Design and enhance test automation frameworks and strategies.
 Develop custom components and modules in Tosca to address specific testing needs.

Test Case Creation And Execution
 Create detailed and accurate test cases based on requirements and specifications.
 Execute test cases and report results, ensuring defects are accurately logged and tracked.

API And Web Services Testing
 Utilize Tosca for API and web services testing, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
 Develop and execute API test cases, validate responses, and perform performance testing.

Test Strategy And Planning
 Derive comprehensive test strategies for end-to-end, service, and layer-level testing.
 Develop test estimates, plan test schedules, and manage test execution.

Defect Management
 Manage the defect life cycle, including defect identification, logging, tracking, and resolution.
 Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Reporting And Documentation
 Provide detailed reports on test progress, results, and defect status.
 Maintain accurate documentation for test cases, frameworks, and automation processes.

Customer Interaction
 Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients to understand requirements and provide updates.
 Demonstrate strong customer-facing skills and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Qualifications

Experience :
 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in test automation and framework development.
 Minimum of 3 years of practical experience with Tosca Automation framework, including TBOX modules, TCD, Requirements, APIs, and BI in Tosca.

Technical Skills
 Strong knowledge of Tosca Automation framework and its components.
 Proficiency in test case creation, execution, and maintenance using Tosca.
 Good understanding of web services, API testing, and related tools.
 Experience in test strategy development for end-to-end and service/layer-level testing.

Additional Skills
 Experience in deriving test estimates, planning, scheduling, and reporting.
 Proficiency in defect life cycle management.
 Excellent communication skills with experience in customer-facing roles.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
