Position Summary:
The incumbent will drive revenue growth, develop new business or NBD, foster strong client relationships and oversee the aspects of business development. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction. Your industry expertise and leadership skills will be critical in achieving our ambitious goals.
Responsibilities:
Identify new revenue streams and market opportunities for media sales (TV, radio, digital, OOH)
Drive business expansion by exploring untapped/new markets and innovative service offerings
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
Understand client needs, anticipate challenges, and propose tailored solutions
Collaborate with the sales team to upsell services
Encourage creativity, adaptability and continuous learning
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies
Use market insights to inform business decisions and stay ahead of the curve
Meet and exceed sales targets set by the management team
Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements and ethical practices
Work closely with cross-functional teams (creative, digital, production) to deliver integrated solutions
Enhance brand visibility across the market and secure new business opportunities
Qualifications:
Masters degree or MBA in Business, Marketing, or related field
8-15 years of progressive experience in media advertising, with a proven track record in new business development/sales. Media agency experience will be preferred
Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking and business acumen
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
