Role Description

We are seeking a senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and implementing automated test scripts, focusing on using the Playwright automation tool with Java. Responsibilities:

 Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Java.

 Develop and execute automated test plans to ensure product quality.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated tests.

 Identify, document, and track bugs to ensure resolution.

 Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application scalability and reliability.

 Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members.

 Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in automation testing.

 Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the automation framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 5+ years of total experience in QA automation.

 1-2 years of hands-on experience with the Playwright automation tool using Java is a MUST to have.

 Experience with other automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is a plus.

 Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

 Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

 Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).

 Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

 Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

 Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.

 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 Strong communication and collaboration skills.

 B. Tech/ B. E/ MCA/ M. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent experience,
