Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years of proven success in business development within the Business consultant industry, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, drive business expansion, and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
Area of Expertise
Skilled in lead generation, client retention, cold calling, sales development, and pipeline management. An expert in sales strategy and revenue generation, with a focus on business growth, development, and new client acquisition. A proven track record in key account management, market expansion, and proposal writing.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Proactively seek out new clients, markets, and partnerships to expand the company's footprint.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company objectives and revenue targets.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Proposal and Pitch Development: Lead the development of compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations tailored to meet client needs.
Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients or partners to secure new business deals and partnerships.
Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, track leads, opportunities, and activities to achieve sales goals.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to support business development initiatives.
Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, progress against targets, and forecast future sales and revenue.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
5 to 10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the Business consultant industry.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
