    Position Title: Area Sales Manager Department: Sales Reports To: Regional Sales Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the decorative division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales targets, managing customer relationships, and expanding market presence in the assigned area. This role requires a strong understanding of wood coatings, excellent sales skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the assigned area. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Provide insights and recommendations to the senior management team. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets. Prepare regular sales reports for senior management. Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of wood coating products and their applications. Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and technical teams to align sales strategies with company objectives. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for customers and sales staff on wood coating products and their applications. Pricing and Negotiation: Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with customers to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. Customer Feedback: Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in products and services. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus. Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in sales within the wood coatings or related industry. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of wood coatings and their applications. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area to meet clients and attend industry events,
