    Business Function Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the banks risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure. Responsibilities Portfolio & Policy Manager will be primarily responsible for the oversight of the credit programs and & risk management of portfolio booked under Credit Programs under India SME including ABL, supply chain, etc. Adopt a dynamic risk management approach to pro-actively monitor the portfolio trends like industry, geographical concentrations, collateral type, delinquency rates, RM concentration etc and initiate corrective actions if needed Work with RMG Data Chapter team to track the Through the door vis--vis Credit model and recommend refinement of parameters for credit programs and ensure timely renewal of the program. Ensure that the learnings from portfolio and process are fed into the program / model to drive program enhancement and process improvement. Manage day to day program operations, analyse the portfolio and summarise key insights, provide technical support and maintenance of scorecard and working with key stakeholders to ensure robust risk management of the program. Ongoing benchmarking of our policies, products and processes to peer lenders in market and ensure that our offering is aligned to market Credit Program Refinement & Renewal Work closely with business partners, CRMs and RMG Data Chapter team to establish and refine credit program parameters for new and existing credit products, and monitor portfolio performance Ensure timely renewal of credit / local programs. Ensure compliance with group policies / processes and applicable regulatory guidelines (both MAS and local regulators) and highlight deviations, if any, while framing and seeking approval for programs / processes. Proactive Credit Risk Management Review portfolio risk profile, economic/ industry/ competitive/ regulatory developments, and evaluate portfolio performance under normal and stress conditions. Monitor portfolio trends, caps and triggers and take appropriate action to mitigate identified risk on a timely basis. Work closely with SAM to review deteriorating trends and take necessary actions to address concerns. Conduct risk forum with business partners and follow up with system/ process enhancement where appropriate. Drive Program Enhancement and Process Improvement Work with various internal partners to improve and streamline workflow processes to maximise efficiency. Work with IBG-COO, BU, BSU, technical support team and vendors in system enhancements and program template changes, including drafting user requests, functional specs and conducting UAT Manage the Day-to-Day Program Operations Work with various stakeholders i.e. IBG, RMG data chapter, T&O on development, maintenance and enhancement of programs and processes. Build and maintain designed data infrastructure to enable extraction of program statistics for risk management needs. Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly reporting of portfolio performance to Senior management in India and group Undertake SP Forecast, portfolio stress tests, strategic thematic reviews by the generation of detailed portfolio information Provide requisite clarification on interpretation of credit programs and processes to CRMs for approval of Program Lending cases in order to maintain stipulated credit turnaround time Participate in and contribute to designated projects to improve credit processes and systems as a representative of RMG- SME Credit, India. Requirements Good interpersonal skills Good oral and written communication skills Some experience in financial institutions, preferably in corporate credit and credit program management and underwriting Strong excel and power-point skills University Degree/ professional qualification such as MBA/CA/CFA preferred Strong knowledge of lending framework, esp. in SME and mid-market segment in India Possess results-driven capability to work with service partners, such as CCU, GPA, Operations and Sales, to ensure a seamless process flow for credit applications Display a high degree of team spirit and professionalism, and able to co-operate in a harmonious and productive manner with superiors, peers, subordinates, internal customers and external service providers.
