Primary Skills : Interpersonal skills , Communication skills , IT technical knowledge , Be able to give presentations , Selling skills Job Description We are looking for an IT Technical Sales Specialist to join our sales team. youll be selling our company's products as part of a sales team., you'll usually work with commercial clients, finding the right technological products to suit their business needs. In pre-sales, this may involve demonstrating features of a particular product. It may also mean responding to a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) and then, if short listed, replying to a more detailed information to tender (ITT) document.Once the sale of the product or service is completed, after-care is usually provided which may include technical support, such as solving faults or problems and advising on appropriate user training and implementation. Skills A good level of technical understanding, with enthusiasm for new technology and its commercial uses - though having technical skills before you start isn't essential Self-motivation and a competitive, results-driven attitude Passion, dedication and focus Stamina, resilience and the ability to work well under pressure Confident presentation skills and a professional telephone manner Time-management skills and the ability to prioritize your workload Articulate, persuasive and influential verbal communication skills A strong team spirit Business awareness Up to-date working knowledge of the industry Responsibilities : Conducting thorough market research, doing desktop research, sending emails and making calls, and even attending product launches of rival companies. Selling IT hardware and software products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions. Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements. Answering all product-related questions in a polite manner and addressing queries promptly. Performing product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders. Assisting with the development of business plans. Making helpful product recommendations and suggestions to increase revenue. Extensive experience in retail, sales, or customer service would be advantageous. Ability to memorize details like product specifications. Articulate and able to perform demonstrations that engage and inspire. Deadline-driven, and willing to work after hours.
