Job Description:
As a Business Development Manager specializing in Digital Media and Performance Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our client base within the digital advertising ecosystem. You will leverage your extensive experience in digital media and performance marketing, particularly within a media agency setting, to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and lead the strategy for business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the digital media and performance marketing space.
Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring consistent outreach and follow-up.
Client Relationship Management:
Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential and existing client organizations.
Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to propose tailored digital media and performance marketing solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the digital media and performance marketing sectors.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative service offerings that meet market demands and client needs.
Provide strategic insights to the management team on market positioning, pricing strategies, and new business avenues.
Proposal Development and Negotiation:
Lead the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches that effectively communicate the value proposition of our services.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitable and sustainable business deals.
Work closely with the legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and agreements.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work in tandem with digital marketing, performance marketing, creative, and analytics teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
Provide feedback and insights from clients to internal teams to continuously improve service offerings and client satisfaction.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Track and analyze the performance of business development activities and client acquisition efforts.
Prepare and present regular reports on business development metrics, client acquisition status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in business development within digital media, performance marketing, and/or media agency environments.
Skills:
Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
In-depth understanding of digital media channels, performance marketing strategies, and the overall digital advertising landscape.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working within a media agency, managing high-value clients in the digital and performance marketing space.
Strong network within the digital advertising and media community.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy.,
