We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead and manage our cross-border e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international trade, e-commerce, and business development. They will be responsible for driving growth, expanding our global footprint, and managing relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Market Research & Strategy Development:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities in international markets.
Develop and implement strategies to enter and grow in new markets, focusing on cross-border e-commerce.
Partnership & Relationship Management:
Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners to ensure smooth operations and business growth.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and local laws in target markets.
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to navigate regulatory challenges.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, operations, and finance to align strategies and achieve business goals.
Work with the product team to develop and adapt offerings for international markets.
Reporting & Analytics:
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on business development activities, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Proven experience in business development, preferably in the e-commerce or international trade sector.
Strong understanding of cross-border e-commerce, international trade regulations, and market entry strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office, and other relevant tools.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.,
