As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to elevate brand presence, engagement, and conversion across various platforms. You will work closely with the marketing, content, and creative teams to create compelling content, interact with our community, and drive results aligned with our brand objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
Set specific objectives and report on ROI
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Oversee social media accounts design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Work closely with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns that help to achieve corporate marketing goals
Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams
Monitor the companys social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users
Create methods for finding and saving online customer reviews
Analyse the long-term needs of the companys social media strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Proven experience in social media management, preferably within the beauty or fashion industry.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and brand voice consistency.
Creative thinker with a passion for visual content creation and community engagement.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and derive actionable insights.
Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and paid advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Insights etc.).
Familiarity with influencer marketing and user-generated content strategies is a plus.
