Power BI Developer - Data Visualization

Role And Responsibilities
 Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
 Design and implement data models that effectively represent business data and support reporting requirements.
 Connect Power BI to various data sources (i.e., SQL Server, Excel, Azure Data Lake, APIs) to extract and transform data.
 Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create complex calculations, measures, and hierarchies within Power BI models.
 Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability.
 Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
 Adhere to Power BI best practices and guidelines for data modeling, visualization, and performance optimization.
 Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for Power BI reports and dashboards.

Required Qualifications
 5+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer.
 Strong proficiency in Power BI features and functionalities.
 Expertise in data modeling, DAX, and data visualization techniques.
 Knowledge of SQL and other data querying languages.
 Ability to connect Power BI to various data sources.
 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications
 Certifications in Power BI or related data analytics tools.
 Experience with Power BI Premium features and capacities.
 Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
 Experience with cloud platforms (i.e., Azure, AWS, GCP).
 Familiarity with other data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau, Qlik)
