The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record in driving sales growth, particularly within the robotics and automation sectors. The candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of robotic solutions and mechanical systems, combined with the ability to develop strategic partnerships and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute business development plans to achieve growth objectives in the robotics and automation market.
Client Acquisition: Identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored robotic solutions.
Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Sales Management: Lead the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders, suppliers, and clients.
Product Knowledge: Leverage deep understanding of mechanical systems and robotics to provide technical insights and support during the sales process.
Reporting & Analysis: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for management review.
Key Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field along with MBA in Sales & Marketing
Experience: 6+ years of proven experience in business development, preferably in robotics, automation, or related industries.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, robotics solutions, and their applications across various industries.
Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Networking Skills: Ability to build and maintain a network of industry contacts, clients, and partners.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform business strategies.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
