Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:
 Design and implement continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing systems using GitHub Actions.
 Develop and maintain our infrastructure using Terraform and manage Kubernetes deployments using helm.
 Package applications using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes and EKS.
 Implement and manage GitOps workflow for streamlined and efficient operations using FluxCD or ArgoCD
 Develop automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline system builds and reduce human intervention.
 Collaborate with development teams to address infrastructure issues and come up with scalable solutions.
 Monitor, analyze and manage system performance and health, anticipating and mitigating problems.

On top of this:
 Monitor and analyse: data orchestration, data quality issues, pipeline or integration errors by means of utilising dagster and grafana
 Analyse and resolve: platform pipeline errors when being used by development teams
 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
 Proven experience as a DevOps/SRE Engineer or similar software engineering role.
 Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, FluxCD or ArgoCD, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS and AWS stack.
 Proficient with Bash scripting and Python programming.
 Understanding and experience with GitOps workflow.
 Strong understanding of system administration, scripting, and automation frameworks.
 Proficient knowledge of network protocols, cloud computing, and security principles.
 Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems.
 Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
 Dagster or other data orchestrator
 Kafka or other message broker
 General data platform knowledge
