- Key Responsibilities:
Prospect, identify, and generate new leads within the education sector through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals.
Conduct in-depth research to understand the needs and challenges of potential clients and tailor product demonstrations and presentations accordingly.
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, including school administrators, teachers, and educational leaders, to understand their buying processes and timelines.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities to generate interest and drive demand for our EdTech solutions.
Provide product demonstrations, conduct training sessions, and deliver persuasive sales pitches to showcase the value proposition of our products and services.
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective clients, negotiate terms, and close sales. deals in a timely manner.
Follow up with leads and prospects, address any questions or concerns, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the education landscape to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline management, and customer interactions using CRM software.
Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the company.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, education, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the education or technology sector.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to overcome objections and handle rejection.
Deep understanding of the education sector, including knowledge of curriculum standards, teaching methodologies, and educational technology trends.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and drive.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Passion for education and a commitment to improving learning outcomes through technology.
