QA Software Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Software Tester with 0 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through thorough testing and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
 Test Planning and Design:
 Understand project requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
 Collaborate with developers and project managers to identify system requirements and design test strategies.
 Test Execution:
 Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
 Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
 Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
 Bug Reporting and Tracking:
 Report bugs and errors to development teams.
 Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and ensure they are fixed.
 Test Automation:
 Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
 Automate repetitive tasks and improve testing efficiency using relevant tools.
 Continuous Improvement:
 Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
 Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the testing process.
 Documentation:
 Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

Qualifications:
 Educational Background:
 Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 Technical Skills:
 Proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
 Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
 Soft Skills:
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
 Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
 Experience:
 Fresher to 5 years of experience in software testing.
