Why this role is important to us 

We are building an exceptional team of data scientists to solve problems of Demand Planning, Revenue Growth Management, and other areas of Demand-Supply Agility in CPG and Retail. We promise and deliver outcomes that are 5-10% better than current benchmarks and do this in a transparent and scalable way. Simultaneously solving for multiple objectives of best-in-class Accuracy, Scalability, and explain ability requires best-in-class talent.

What will you do 
 Develop features for Asper's AI based products to solve supply chain related challenges in CPG and Retail industry.
 Design and develop pipelines to train high quality AI models for forecasting and other supply chain use cases.
 Develop automated solutions to engineer and select innovative input features that can help improve the performance of AI models.
 Build algorithmic solutions for constrained optimization problems, explain ability of AI model outputs, etc.
 Design algorithms for reconciliation and disaggregation of AI model outputs across different granularities
 Research on latest SOTA tools and technologies in relevant fields and leverage them to develop best in class products.
 Develop workflows to perform batch/online training and inference on complex AI models.
 Build AI solutions that can generalize over a diverse range of requirements, constraints, and datasets.
 Design solutions that can scale to large data sizes and can run on distributed infrastructure.
 Build optimized solutions that minimize the execution time and compute cost of the process.
 Develop solutions which are environment agnostic and portable so that those can be hosted on any private/public cloud.

Experience Required
 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in building and deploying product features for AI applications.
 Strong foundation in Data Science concepts and Machine Learning/Deep Learning techniques
 Expert level knowledge of system design, data structures and algorithms
 Excellent problem-solving skills in areas of Data Science and Software Development
 Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities to build and evaluate hypothesis for experimentation.
 Comfortable in working with structured and unstructured datasets to extract patterns and insights.
 Proficiency in Python and experience working with its libraries like pytorch, tensorflow, scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, etc.
 Experience working on popular public clouds like AWS/Azure/GCP and managed services provided by them
 Experience with tools for code packaging, containerization, shipping and development environment setup.
 Experience in SOLID principles and API development is a plus,
